Even busy TV man Tyler Perry is willing to take time off to spend with his sick mother.

Perry’s mother had been ailing, and he wanted to be able to spend her last days being by her side, and decided to set aside as much time as he needed to for that, no matter how it affected his career. His mother passed away at the young age of 64, early this last December. So sad! But at least she got to see his rise to the top, and got to spend lots of time with him in her final days on this plane. I’m sure Tyler will work just as hard now to do her proud, as he gets set to re-enter the Hollywood scene and promote his new play “Madea’s Big Happy Family.”
