Everyone seems to want to know about WWE star Ric Flair and his wife, so here is the scoop.

Jacqueline Beems, Ric Flair’s wife, was arrested this weekend after allegedly assaulting the longtime ‘sports entertainment’ personality.

Does violence really beget more violence? I’m beginning to think so. These two had only been married for about 3 months before Sunday night’s kerfuffle. Here’s how it all went down:

Sometime just before midnight Sunday night, police were called to the happily married couple’s North Carolina residence. Police documents indicate that Ric suffered minor injuries, but wasn’t transported to the hospital. His wife, Jacqueline Beems, however, was cuffed, stuffed, and brought in on what I presume to be domestic violence charges.

Settle down wrestling fans, there were reportedly no weapons involved—no metal chairs across the back—nada. As of now she remains in custody. I’ll update this post as soon as more information becomes available.

This is not the first time that Flair and his family have had alleged violent run-ins.

Way back in 2008, his daughter Ashley and her boyfriend got into it with him and he apparently got whooped pretty good. When police arrived she began to resist officers, threw a few kicks, and ended up being tasered into submission. She was then charged with assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest. Nice girl.

Well now it is apparently his new wife who is accused of going after him. Is it not enough that he had to take a beating in the ring for a decade, now he gets it from his wife!
