When  it comes to the TV commercials that are the most memorable of all time, there are so many to choose from that it could make your head spin. Today we are going to talk about the most memorable TV commercials of all time. TV and commercials have been around for decades and we seems to love them. They take away from the show we are watching. Give us an opportunity to run to the bathroom, stir the dinner on the stove, or grab a beer, typically. But every now and again we are introduced to a commercial that makes its mark on the culture and sticks with us. These are the most memorable commercials on the television and we tend to not only remember them, but love them as well. Who wouldn’t love the ones with animals in super bowl commercials or aging actors in super bowl commercials?

My wife and I are marketing majors and met in college. While dating, we would get together and watch the greatest television commercial shows with such delight. Comparing the commercials. Critiquing them, while kissing between the segments and sipping on something to keep us warm. Those were the good old days. But I say that to let you know that you are taking this journey with a real commercial fan. Not just the ones that everyone remember, but I really appreciate a good commercial, especially those that are most memorable of all time.

Enough of the build up, let’s get to the meet of this article and start discussing the commercials we know and love. At the end of this article, I want you to tell us your thoughts on the commercials in my list. Budweiser Frogs -- 1995 – This is definitely one of my all time favorite and most memorable commercials of all time. These three frocks couldn’t stop croaking about Bud, Weis and Er. Frogs were all the rave at this time and was definitely one of the Best Budweiser Super Bowl ads of all time.

Herding cats ad – 2000 – Sure you remember this add, but bet you can’t remember what the company did that paid for the commercial. EDS managing the complexities of the digital economy is what they did. But not too many people even know that with one of the most memorable commercials of all time. The company’s name was Electronic Data Systems Corporation.

Nothing but net 1993 super bowl ad -- This commercial featured Michael Jordan and Larry Bird battling in a game of h-o-r-s-e basketball over a Big Mac. Easily, this is one of the most memorable commercials in the history of television. Not to mention it use to run all day everyday because of the wide appeal of the stars and the appeal for the Big Mac….along with McDonald’s large marketing budget.

Citibank identity outfit commercial – 2003 – These were clever spoofs of citibank identity theft ad. The crime is very serious and this was a great way to draw the attention of the viewer to something that they should be aware of and on guard. Citibank commercial identity theft did it’s part to raise the awareness of identity theft.

The man your man could smell like -- 2010 – These commercials are beyond memorable, but hilarious. Isaiah Mustafa, old spice guy, hit it big with this line of commercials. The idea came from the smell man, old spice, brigham young library. But that isn’t all that he has done. He did a parody of Scott Adams, Jerry Labriola prior to old spice was Mustafa 2011 on Seseme Street.

Animals American Express – 2006 – This commercial starred some furry friends and Ellen Degeneres. We love her because she is cute and hilariously funny. One of the best comedians in the world, hands down. But Ellen Degeneres animals and childhood ambition collided here as she has always wanted to work with animals.

Commercials are going to be a big part of our lives moving forward. Hopefully, we will have more that are as entertaining, fun, and memorable as the ones in this list.
