The scandal of all scandals rocked the White House this year, as vegetables from the White House garden mysteriously disappeared and were replaced by vegetable impostors, in the special White House garden episode of Iron Chef.

In the all-star Iron chef episode, Michelle Obama hosted the chefs on a visit and tour of the famous White House garden, and set them up to forage for certain ingredients to be used in their big cooking challenge. But allegations arose that the vegetables used in the actual competition were not fromthe White House. And ultimately the producers admitted that because of the time needed to get back to NY, the White House produce could not stay fresh long enough, so that food was donated to a local pantry and replacement produce was used on the show. A very minor scandal actually, or should I say, not a scandal at all.
