There is news that Bristol Palin has recently made her acting debut.

Bristol will make her debut on the show “The Secret Life of the American Teenager”.

“I am thrilled to be on this show and to be part of a program that educates teens and young adults about the consequences of teen pregnancy,” Bristol said in a statement.

She will play the friend of the show’s protaganist who is going through teen pregnancy. Bristol has had to deal with that herself and was thrust into the national spotlight when during her mom’s campaign as McCain’s VP candidate.

“We’re thrilled to have [Bristol] join us, and I think she will bring additional attention to the issues facing teen parents that we’ve been exploring for a couple seasons now,” “Secret Life” executive producer Brenda Hampton said in a statement.

It will be interesting to see how Bristol performs on a nationally televised show.
