Masterpieces worth $750,000 created by famous artists Warhol and Lichtenstein have been stolen from a Manhattan apartment believed to be secure till now. According to New York police the heinous act was done around Thanksgiving Day by some sophisticated thief who could break security measures reportedly. The precious art works were under possession of an art collector and industrialist Robert Romanoff. The police is unable to get any clue yet regarding the theft, however they have called on public support to get pictures of the stolen art pieces. The video cameras attached in the apartment were also found broken. Along with the artwork, watches and jewelry are also missing from the place. The amazing art works included Warhol’s “The Truck”, “Superman,” Lichtenstein prints titled, “Thinking Nude and many others worth more than $750,000.
