Vikings star Adrian Peterson has gone and gotten himself in trouble with a 109 MPH speeding ticket.

Evidently, Peterson is fast both on and off the football field. Minnesota Vikings star Adrian Peterson was caught speeding in his flashy BMW at a whopping 109 mph in a 55 mph speed zone, according to Edina (Minnesota) police.

According to the New York Daily News the quick dash by the Vikings RB took place on state Highway 62, cited by the NY Daily News as “a normally busy stretch of road known as the Crosstown that connects Minneapolis with southern and western suburbs.

Molly Anderson, a spokeswoman for the Edina police, confirmed Peterson was observed going 109 miles per hour in a 55-mph zone while driving his BMW east on Hwy. 62 near Gleason Road.

His response to his reckless driving?

He said that he “got a little speeding ticket. I need to be more aware of the speed I was going and not let it happen again.”
