Reggie Theus has been fired today by the Sacramento Kings. It seems like no coach’s job has been safe recently in the NBA. Unless you have a .600 record or better, watch out. In his second season with the club Theus has had a dismal record so far at 6-18. Assistant coach Kenny Natt will take over until the team can find a suitable replacement. Another assistant coach Chuck Person was fired along with Theus, who went 44-62 in his brief tenure with Sacramento. Fun trivia: Reggie Theus also played coach Bill Fuller in the NBC teen show “Hang Time”.
