Matt Holliday has been in talks with the Oakland A’s and is close to getting traded to them. There had been talks with the St.Louis Cardinals, but those fell threw. The players that would be received by the Colorado Rockies have not been determined yet. Some names mentioned included A’s outfielder Carlos Gonzalez, left-hander Greg Smith and reliever Huston Street. It is not sure who of them or if all of them will be included. This deal will be finalized in another 48 hours.
