Here in tribute is the Jim Valvano Speech at the 1993 ESPY awards. He gives a great speech and will always be remembered. I like how he says that “time is very precious” and his story about coaching basketabll at Rutgers in his speech. He became famous after the 1983 NCAA Tournament finals when his player Lorenzo Charles dunked in an alley oop to win the game in the last seconds for NC State. The V foundation was creating in his name to help fight cancer.
