Jason Richardson of the Charlotte Bobcats was traded today. The trade involved sending Richardson alongside Jared Dudley to the Phoenix Suns for Boris Diaw, Raja Bell and Sean Singletary. The Bobcats also had to surrender their 2010 second round pick in the draft. The Suns manager Steve Kerr said “He’s athletic and gives us a really potent offensive player”. This is true, Jason Richardson is known for his high flying dunks and has been in slam dunk contests before. He should give the Suns an offensive spark, but they may lose some good defenders in Bell and Diaw.
