Iverson Retiring?
Many people know of Allen Iverson retiring from the NBA. He may be back quicker than anyone could have foreseen.
Not only that, but he may be reunited with former team -- Philadelphia 76ers.
Philly says they can’t wait to get their old point guard back.
“He’s loved in Philly,” Charlotte’s Larry Brown, who coached Iverson with the Sixers, told the Associated Press last night. “He did a phenomenal job for that franchise.”
In 13-plus NBA seasons, Iverson has a career average of 27.0 points per game, but he’s had difficulty accepting a lesser role since being traded by Denver early last season.
It could be that Philly is having a poor year and they could use help from anyone right now. Also the fact that Larry Brown is no longer there means there won’t be any tensions between A.I. and the coaching staff.
