Dan Mullen who was offensive coordinator for the Florida Gators has a new job. It will be as head coach of the Mississippi State Bulldogs football team. The new hire will be introduced Thursday by the athletics department of Mississippi. Dan Mullen looks to be a strong choice and will vitalize the Bulldogs offense into something much different than MSU’s past teams. It is likely but unclear whether Dan Mullen will stay with Florida till their National Championship game is finished. One would assume you would finish what you started with a great program, then start focusing on the next phase of your career. But crazier things have happened *cough Bobby Petrino!* Looks like the SEC is going to be strangely different next year if Mullen can make the Bulldogs a contender.
