Croom Resigns

Sylvester Croom who played for Alabama and was a longtime assistant coach for Mississippi State has resigned from the head coach position at MSU. The reason he resigns today has not been explained althought this year’s dreadful season might have something to do with it. He was the first Black head football coach in the SEC. A statement from the university will be released soon today. They lost their rivalry game to Ole Miss 45-0. The team went 4-8 overall this year and didn’t make a bowl game.
