Cleveland State did the unthinkable and shocks Syracuse with a backcourt buzzer beater shot to win the game. Time was expiring as Cedric Jackson hurled the ball across about 3/4 of the court to knock off Syracuse. The Orangemen were ranked eleventh in the nation before losing to the small school. Cleveland State had knocked off number 3 seed Indiana who was on their way to the sweet sixteen back in 1986.
