Candance Parker of the L.A. Sparks is now pregnant the team confirmed recently. Parker is married to NBA player Shelden Williams of the Sacramento Kings. Parker received the WNBA season MVP award last year. When asked about the pregnancy she said “Shelden and I are very excited to be expanding our family.” It is interesting because you usually don’t see an NBA and WNBA players who are married or dating. Maybe the genetics will be passed on and they will have a superstar boy/girl in basketball. This is the couple’s first child.
