Milwaukee Bucks guard Brandon Jennings has been fined because of one of his tweets. The stellar player was fined $7500 for congratulating his team over a victory.

The NBA’s problem with the tweet was that it came too soon after the game ended, while he was still in the arena and during a span the league considers “game time,” which means players are not allowed to tweet.

Jennings has said he understand he broke the rules and it was a rookie mistake, but he feels the fine was excessive, just as he was getting ready to do his christmas shopping and buy last-minute gifts for his family. Looks like the Jennings kids might be getting another etch-a-sketch instead of that flat screen TV.
