There have been rumors as to whether Bill Cowher will come back from retirement. Most people speculate that he was just sitting out a year so that he can come back and take complete control of a team. He picked the perfect time too. There are lots of teams that have lost head coaches. There is the Rams, Browns, Lions, and Jets.

Also, despite Jerry Jones saying he is keeping his head coach no matter what, if he was to change his mind I think the Cowboys would have the most alluring offer. Who wouldn’t want to work with that kind of talent and complete control. Otherwise if Cowher comes back and Brett Favre returns for another season, the Jets might have a great offer for him. What coach wouldn’t want the glory of taking Brett Favre to a Superbowl in his final season. Plus he would be making champs out of a team that hasn’t won it in nearly 40 years.
