We’ve seen it before and we are certainly seeing it again where athletes are having major problems with infidelity.

There was Michael Jordan, Karl Malone, Magic Johnson, Shawn Kemp, Steve McNair, Roger Clemens, Kobe Bryant, and now Tiger Woods. I’m sure I missed a couple along the way as well.

It seems athletes are not content to have the world at their fingertips and any woman for their wife. Woods was quoted as saying “married life is not all it’s cracked up to be”. It may be the thrill of the chase or the rush from thinking you could get caught. Whatever the case, a lot of these star athletes are playing the field so to speak.

However they may not be doing worse than the average American. There is a 50% divorce rate in this country. Roughly 50% of married men cheat and now 40% of woman cheat and that number is quickly rising. So this problem needs to be addressed by everyone, not just our athletes.
