AJ Abrams
Now that DJ Augustine is gone there will need to be a new point guard leader for the Texas Longhorns. His name is AJ Abrams. He almost went pro last year alongside his teammate but decided that it would be for the better if he stayed. Abrams was averaging 16.5 points and 1.5 assists a game as well as 2.9 rebounds a game. Not to mention AJ’s three point percentage was .382 last year. He is versatile and quick and will give the experience and leadership that this Longhorns team needs. If AJ plays better basketball than last year he can easily take his team to the NCAA Tournament and win it all. The Longhorns preseason rank is seventh.
