Wikileaks Founder, Assange Freed on Bail, but Conditions Apply

Wikileaks founder Julian Assange was freed on bail on Thursday after his arrest 9 days ago over his alleged involvement in two sex cases.

After spending 9 days in the basement of a London Prison, Assange finally smelled fresh air as the High court threw out an appeal by the Swiss authorities against the bail granted to him by a magistrate’s court earlier this week.

Mr.Assange wearing a suit and open-neck shirt, was greeted by a media scrum and supporters as he emerged from the court a free man.His firsts words were ” It’s great to smell again the fresh air of London”.He then said that he wanted to thank all of his supporters all around the world without whose support he would not have emerged a free man again. He especially thanked those who contributed to his security money.

However, this bail came with a ‘conditions apply’ tag. These conditions say that -- Assange must stay at a fixed address(a sprawling country house in Suffolk owned by a journalist friend),he would be fitted with an electronic tag to monitor his movements and have to report to a local police station everyday.Good luck Mr.Assange
