Van Der Sloot Attorney

Joran Van Der Sloot just lost his attorney after his representation quit the case. His chances are not looking very good.

His attorney has quit in Peru and Joran van der Sloot may be trying to work a deal so he can face justice in Aruba.  Is he set to confess to Natalee Holloway’s murder? Her dad, Dave Holloway is back in Aruba, and some reports claim van der Sloot is trying to work a deal to get him transferred to a prison in Aruba to serve time.

He is now jailed in Peru and will stand trial in that country for the murder of Stephany Tatiana Flores. The conditions are harsh and he says he fears for his life.

According to CNN’s Nancy Grace: “The 22-year-old murder suspect is in a high security area with 24/7 protection, sharing TV time with a high profile Colombian alleged hit man.”

He has been separated from the general population, but will eventually be integrated.

His attorney in Peru has resigned from defending the murder suspect saying it had caused too many problems for him personally.

Maximo Altez Navarro told CNN that he didn’t want to be van der Sloot’s attorney anymore.

The move came after a transcript was leaked to the press from his confession. In the papers provided by confidential sources to CNN, Van der Sloot said he elbowed Flores in the face before strangling her and then suffocating her with his own shirt.

“There was blood everywhere,” van der Sloot said, according to the transcripts.

“What am I going to do now. I had blood on my shirt. There was also blood on the bed, so, I took my shirt and put it on her face, pressing hard, until I killed Stephany.”

Meanwhile in Aruba, Dave Holloway planned to discuss the latest developments with prosecutors and investigators at a meeting today.

With him is a friend, Tim Miller, that is involved with Texas EquuSearch, the company that has helped in other searches for Natalee and the men are hoping for a new and final search that would bring the American daughter home.
