US reacts over stressed relations with China

There seems to be no end to drifts in US-China diplomatic relations. This is so intense that it is the coldness between US President Obama and Chinese premier Hu Jintao is visible in Asia-pacific leaders’ summit today.

Barack Obama is trying his best to induce more US influence in Asian region. In Australia too, yesterday, Obama expressed US strategy of expanding its military expanses despite of the recent deductions in its budget and he made it clear that the United States desires to retain its supremacy in the Asia Pacific region.

While hosting the Asia Pacific Economic Co-Operation forum in Hawaii, US president expressed his dissatisfaction over China’s reluctance to liberalize its trade policies. Obama also looked for making new trade deals with China’s neighboring countries in retaliation.

A bilateral meeting is being held today on Friday prior to ast Asia summit, which is on Saturday.
U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton also called on countries circling South China Sea to not to compromise with China at any cost in the coming summit in Indonesia.
