America is one of the few places in the world where just about anyone can truly make it if they work hard. It doesn’t matter who you are or where you’re from. I live in New York City so I see people every day from around the world who have come here to pursue their dreams. It sounds cheesy, but I think that’s what makes this country so special.

No matter what you decide– to pursue a college degree or not– determination, hard work and a little bit of luck can get you where you’re going.
