Three Mile Island March 1979

The disaster of Three mile Island is always be memorable for the people of United States of America as on that black day the malfunctioning of equipments of reactors along with the human error results in the partial meltdown of a nuclear reactor at the Three Mile Island nuclear power plant of USA which is located near the Middleton now in Pennsylvania.

The nuclear power plant incident was one of the most serious accidents which destroy the whole commercial nuclear facility of USA in a disastrous manner. The disaster begins at 4 a.m. when the malfunctioning of equipments causes the feed water pumps of the reactor stop flowing inside the fuel rod.

After that the reactor automatically shut down as the relief valve was unable to operate in a genuine way resulting in the leakage of coolants and causing the nuclear reactor to burn in a disastrous manner. The entire team of operator present at the reactor was unaware of the coolant failure and they made attempts for the relieving of pressure by decreasing the rate of coolant flow which is the most wrong decision taken by the operator.

There were no harm of death caused in this controversy but the radiation effect is still seen on the people living there.
