In the news of the day, a top aide for Sarah Palin resigns.

The aide, Palin’s senior adviser and spokeswoman Meghan Stapleton, handed in her resignation this week, for reasons that are not yet entirely clear.

Stapleton said officially that she is stepping down to spend more time with her family, specifically her two year old daughter that she spends limited time with right now.
