Revolt Against TSA

After the extremely invasive measures the TSA has taken in the name of security it is time to revolt against the TSA.

Instead of having your body radiated and naked pictures of you saved on a database somewhere there is an alternative when flying. You can decide to opt-out, in fact Nov.24 is going to be National Opt-Out Day. This is to send a message to the government that we will not stand for these kinds of measures and care for our personal freedoms more than overbearing and invasive security measures. You may be subjected to a rough pat down as an alternative, but it’s better than being radiated and have your nude body photo stored in some government data base. Furthermore, if everyone opts out it has a good chance that the government and TSA would no longer make the naked body scanners mandatory or get rid of them altogether.

“We have received hundreds of e-mails and phone calls from travelers vowing to stop flying,” said Geoff Freeman, an executive vice president of the U.S. Travel Association, which set up the meeting with the Obama administration officials.

“You can’t talk on the one hand about creating jobs in this country and getting this economy back on track and on the other hand discourage millions of Americans from flying, which is the gateway to commerce,” he said.
