Regular Peanut Consumption Reduces Risk of Type 2 Diabetes
A new study has shown that regular consumption of peanuts reduces the risk of developing type 2 diabetes. The study looked at over 83,000 women, and compared various levels of intake, none, low levels, and higher levels. The highest showed a significant reduction in type 2 diabetes. To avoid increasing calories by the peanut consumption, the study suggested reducing meat intake (peanuts are a good source of protein).
