Paula Abdul is to release a new album, and confirms a new tour is in the works. This would not be Paula Abdul’s first comeback, and she has made numerous attempts. Estimates of her records sales are 60 million worldwide to date. Paula Abdul was a LA Lakers Cheerleader. As LA Lakers Cheerleader, Paula Abdul was discovered by The Jacksons who hired her on to do choreography. From there, she jumpstarted her own career. In 1988 she launched Forever Your Girl, which holds the record for taking 62 weeks to hit #1 on the Billboard 200 album sales chart, after which it stayed at #1 for 10 weeks.
