Patrick Swayze’s wife Lisa Niemi, born in Texas to two Finnish Americans, is completely “broken up” over the death of her husband, Patrick Swayze, who passed away last month. In his 22 month fight against cancer, Patrick Swayze’s wife had helped him through that struggle.  Lisa Niemi appeared at the The Women’s Conference 2009 in California where she discussed her grief.

Lisa Niemi thought she might of adjusted to the idea of losing him eventually, but in the end, it was too much. Lisa remarked how she could finally understand how “men who die months after their wives”.
