Sarah Palin is going to help John McCain once again when he tries to get re-elected in Arizona.

McCain made the announcement this week. Palin has written a book and recently joined the Fox News channel as a commentator. McCain said that Palin still energizes the country.

“I’m looking forward to getting back on the campaign trail with my former running mate, and I know my fellow Arizonans will welcome her as well,” McCain said. “Sarah energized our nation and remains a leading voice in the Republican Party.”

The former Alaska governor is the most powerful brand in Republican politics today. She is also popular with social Web sites Facebook and Twitter. “I look forward to helping heroes and statesmen like Senator John McCain,” Palin said on her Facebook page.

It is strange that she would go help a man whose campaign members lashed out at her when they were losing the presidential election. I guess she forgives quickly, an admirable trait.
