US President Barack Obama is relaxing in Hawaii spending his Christmas vacation with his family. According to sources, he would use this opportunity to read on former president Ronald Reagan, a prominent Republican diplomat.

Obama is reading a biography of Ronald Reagan written by Lou Cannon, revealed the ,” White House spokesman Robert Gibbs on Twitter. His reading interests have included Regan prior to the situation when Republicans will occupy a majority in the Senate.

Reagan was the president of the United States from 1981 to 1989. He is most appreciated for his strategy for the Soviet Union and fiscal reforms, which included a reduction in taxes and modified tax policies. Reagan also faced a similar situation like Obama when the Democrats overtook the Republicans in the Senate. He passed in 2004 fighting with Alzheimer’s disease.
