Naked sushi is now available in places like Punta Gorda, Fla. For many, simply trying sushi is an adventurous experience.

But one restaurant in Punta Gorda, Florida has put a whole new twist on Japanese rolls and the way they are served up.

At Torch Bistro, Sushi and Martini Bar in Punta Gorda, Gabrielle Patchell is a real dish.

The tiny 5-foot-6 model lies on her back (her long, blond hair splayed out on a table resembling an Asian fan) nearly nude saved by a thong and a few strategically placed leaves and artificial blossoms. Patchell remains still as patrons pick-up sushi pieces off of her arms, legs and stomach.

“She’s my platter that I get to put my food on,” brags sushi chef Brian Sung.

The trio of chefs behind Torch — Shane Federici, Jason Bush and sushi-roller Sung — say they have booked no less than one full-body sushi party a month since they opened in January.
