Edelmiro Cavazos, Mexico’s Santiago Mayor who was killed on Jan. 5th was actually murdered by 6 police offiiers, an investigation found recently. A personal guard of Edelmiro Cavazos’ home was also found involved in the murder of mayor. Edelmiro Cavazos was just 38, at the time of his death.

The guard seems to have lured by getting a good sum of money for which he murdered Cavazos. He first kidnapped the mayor before killing him.. A video footage showed the suspect walking near the vehicle with which Mayor was kidnapped. All 6 suspects were found belonging to same criminal group which was indulged in dealing with drugs. Each of these officers earned $700 a month for allowing illegal trade of drugs. Mexico’s police have possibly many of its key officials supporting illegally supporting drug trade for money and killing innocent people. The death of Santiago Mayor Edelmiro Cavazos also might be a part of this drug bloodbath.
