McKinney & Frisco Texas Median Apartment Rental Cost, Home Price
Frisco & McKinney Texas Median Apartment Rental Cost, Home Price
Beautiful McKinney and Frisco in Texas are the fastest growing cities in America, with a high median income. This does translate into a higher rental cost with the median apartment rental cost at $850 a month. This is actually not a high rate compared to some far less cozy neighborhoods and few can boast the low crime rate of the affluent Northern Texas communities. The home price for a Frisco Texas home is $157,200 and the median McKinney home price is $148,100. But with median homeowner income more than half of that sum, McKinney and Frisco homeowners may not feel the sting in their wallet that most do, and at a median price of $86 per square foot (Frisco) are living in much larger houses than many of their urban counterparts on the West and East coast. One personal insight -- much of the new movers to McKinney and Frisco are Asian immigrants or Asian Americans (who have the highest median income rate), a booming Koreatown and Chinatown can be found throughout the local area.
