McDonalds snake wrestling resulted to the arrest of two unidentified people. The men were spotted wrestling with a 1.5 meter long python snake at a McDonald’s restaurant parking lot.

Police say the men were arrested because they stole the python, named Boris, from a pet shop along with a lizard. Boris is 8 years old. Detective Sgt. Andrew Beams described the men who are aged 22 and 24 years as “pretty dumb”.

“In all honesty, it’s just a case of dumb and dumber. Anyone who gets out there with a one-and-a-half meter python in a McDonald’s car park — they’re pretty dumb.”

The python was returned to its owner, Jodie Graham of Totally Reptiles pet shop who was obviously relieved that Boris has been found. The owner says Boris was cold so he had to put it back to the tank to warm it up.

The snake, black headed python is native to northern Australia and they are not venomous. They kill mostly by constriction and they only bite when they are hunting for prey.
