Knicks Skirvin Crying Baby Ghost

The Knicks, a team full of large men, were afraid of a baby ghost at the Skirvin Hotel. According to a legend purpotedly from the 1930’s, a woman jumped to her death at the Skirvin Hotel while holding a baby in her arms. The Knicks who slept there had claimed to hear a crying baby ghost, as an explanation for why they lost the game the following day. The 6′11 Knicks center Eddy Curry apparently had run into another athlete’s room when he was scared. Eddy said, “That’s why I spent most of my time in Nate Robinson’s room. I definitely believe there are ghosts in that hotel.”
