Johnny Appleseed Day
Johnny Appleseed Day
Johnny Appleseed Day has been celebrated in the honor of an amazing legend of America, John Chapman. He was one of the American pioneers for his great works and leadership quality. He was basically a nursery man, but not an ordinary one. He traveled to West and let the people of Ohio, Illinois and Indiana to become acquainted with the apple tress as he planted them along the way to west. Then he also sold trees to the native people of those areas.
This is not the only thing he did; he got a long list of legend activities and achievements. He was a very religious person, in fact. He also worked as a missionary for the Swedenborgian church. John Chapmanās date of birth is 26 September and the year was 1774. He passed away on March 11, 1845 but the date is not authentic.
The idea behind celebrating Johnny Appleseed Day is to celebrate a day full of apple made dishes and snacks. You can start this day by taking a glass of apple juice or apple milkshake. Apple salad in your lunch can make the day more apple-enriched.
