Hostages Pearland Chase Bank Robbery

Five people have been taken as hostages at the Pearland Chase Bank during a robbery. Pearland Police Lieutenant Onesmio Lopez said, “We’re trying to resolve the situation peacefully”. The two robbers have taken the hostages as a result of a failed robbery attempt when the manager could not open the vault. One of them also injured the bank manager, who is among the hostages. A nearby manager of a restaurant said that two people have left their building since mid-day and are being interviewed by police.
