Elin Nordegren Moves Out

Elin Nordegren has had enough of Tiger Woods’ indescretions and moves out of their Florida home.

Elin Nordegren, has moved out of the couple’s $2.6 million home in Windermere, Fla. The Web site claims neighbors and “other sources close to Tiger” have said that Elin is now living nearby in another house.

Chicago Sun-Times columnist Bill Zwecker quotes a Woods source that says: “Elin has been taking a bit of a break, but Tiger and his team are still hopeful she won’t leave permanently.”

Late Monday night, the New York Daily News reported that Elin recently made a real estate purchase in Sweden.

“The official story from her family is that she bought the place with her twin sister, Josefin, not with Tiger,” said Poppe Linge of HPG, a Swedish news agency.

The report of Elin’s separation from Tiger surfaces just as more allegations of mistresses have begun to crop up. Most recently, one tabloid even stated Woods was linked to porn star Holly Sampson.

If you’re bothering to count at this point, seven women in total have been named as alleged mistresses of Woods, including a lurid accusation by a former Perkins restaurant employee named Mindy Lawton.

And to think, this whole media tailspin all started with a SUV crashing into a tree less than two weeks ago. Since then we’ve seen two apologetic statements published on Woods’ Web site, one for the accident and another for his “transgressions,” which sparked a horde of people wondering what exactly a “transgression” really is.

As the alleged dirt on Tiger continues to fly at a breakneck pace, demand for a interview with Woods will only increase. The Oprah Winfrey Show, ESPN, the Golf Channel, and CBS’ 60 Minutes have all expressed interest in talking with Tiger. If he does agree to a televised interview, the probable choice would be Oprah since he has appeared on her show before and the two are friends.

“We have reached out to him but nothing is confirmed,” a spokesperson for Harpo, the production company responsible for “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” told CNN on Monday.

I’d tell you to stay tuned, but it’s pretty impossible not to.
