Edna Foa and Distinguished Scientist Award: Edna Foa Prolonged Exposure. 2010 TIME 100

Edna Foa is not an ordinary person; she is a professor at the University of Pennsylvania. She teaches clinical psychology to his students. The lady is basically from Israel and she was born in 1937 in Haifa. She is not even a professor but she is a director of the center for the treatment and study of anxiety. The lady gained fame at international level as being regulator of psychopathology and treatment of anxiety. This genius woman discovered the treatment of mental disorders and developed proper understanding with this phenomenon.

Foa attained his masters’ degree in clinical psychology in 1970 and decided to go for PhD in the same discipline from University of Missouri. She is also a talented author with several books and more than two hundred articles. Her piece of writings is considered as a great help in the field of Psychology. She got a long list of achievements so far. She named among the 100 most influential people around the world for 2010 by Time Magazine and she also attained distinguished scientist award from scientific division of APA.
