Dr. Randy Pausch, Star Trek film role. The Last Lecture: Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams
The last lecture given by Randy Pausch is also known as ‘really achieving your childhood dreams’. Randy was a cancer patient who died in 2008. When doctors diagnosed that he is a cancer patient, he decided to give a last lecture at his university. His lecture received a huge media coverage and gained so much fame and regard among the public and students.
He also humorously told about his childhood dreams. He wanted to win gigantic stuffed animal at carnivals. He also had a wish to walk in zero gravity and to draw Disney rides. He had a desire to write a World book entry. And the most amazing and interesting thing is he successfully managed to attain all his wishes. During his lecture his students were holding those big stuffed animals which he got in his life. In the end of his lecture he distributed all those stuffed animals among the audience members. As he knew only few days are left for him so there was no use of keeping them with him any more.
