Once a “Dating Game” contestant and one of America’s Most Wanted Fugitives of 1971, Rodney Alcala has been sentenced to death.
It is being said that when the man was there on the dating show he had already killed many women. Rodney Alcala’s first victim happens to be a child of 8 years. Now that his crimes have been proved, the cops report of Rodney Alcala killing five women in between the years 1977 and 1979.
It is being said that Rodney Alcala was very smart in his dating games and that he knew that every time he said something that would make a girl laugh which the killer used as his trump card that he would eventually play upon to fulfill his desires.
It’s 30 years later now that he is being tried in the court and finally punished for the heinous crimes that he had committed. Reportedly, the jury had to think only for a couple of days considering his case of five murders. Rodney Alcala is reported to have been asking for mercy and to withdraw the death sentences as the case was presided by an Orange county judge Francisco Briseno. Rodney Alcala has been tested by his DNA sample to all his victims Jill Parenteau(21), Jill Barcomb(18), Charlotte Lamb(32), Georgia Wixted(27). Rodney Alcala took over as his own attorney in the case and he actually begged the jury to withdraw his death sentence. He even said to them that their decision in punishing a killer would make them killers in return as he begged for mercy from the judge too.
