The Bvlgari Blue is an amazing triangular-shaped blue diamond, standing at 10.95 carats, has broken a world record: the diamond sold for $15.7 million, at a price per carat of 1.4 million dollars. And for good reason: the Gemological Institute of America stated that the triangular-shaped “Bvlgari Blue” was the largest blue diamond ever graded. The New York auction also has a different gem: a famous designer Barbie doll, designed by the renowned designer Stefano Canturi of Canturi Jewels. The barbie has a one carat pink necklace combined with three carat diamonds. The barbie has fetched roughly $300,000 dollars at the auction. The sale at Christie’s has raised millions and the proceeds will go to a good cause: charity. Specifically the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
