Best and Worst Halloween Treats
It’s almost that time of year, so it’s time to discuss the best and worst of the Halloween treats.
Now, you can’t talk about the best and worst Halloween treats without talking about kids’ preferences. One of the least popular candies given out is candy corn. While some just love the stuff, most young people today probably think it sounds too healthy to be good (The same goes for candy apples). I don’t think I even need to talk about raisins. Rule number three: No Candy Corn or Raisins!
But that’s enough of the don’ts, here are some dos! Do give out popular candy. That one seems a little obvious, but here is the scoop: top-scoring treats on All Hallows Eve are M&M’s, Milky Way Bars, and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.
Adding to the excitement, here’s another do. Do let kids pick their own candy! There’s nothing worse than seeing your favorite candy in a bowl, only to be handed candy corn.
There are a few more things to keep in mind for a happy holiday. Avoid nuts, as a lot of kids are allergic these days. Jawbreakers are a bad idea, the name says it all.
