Barack Obama “There’s not a single thing that I haven’t done or tried to do”

Barack Obama has been facing what many in the press are dubbing an “uprising” from the Democratic party over his plan to partner with Republicans and give tax cuts to the “wealthy”. Noting that Republicans are coming to D.C. next month, Obama managed to pull out a deal that gets extensions for unemployment and many other benefits for the lower classes that may have proved impossible once the new Congress arrived. But still, many Democrats, focused on wealth redistribution, are upset with Obama for not letting Bush tax cuts expire and to raise tax rates on the rich. After all, one of his campaign promises was wealth redistribution. Obama promised to lower taxes for any family making below $250,000 a year, and raise them on millionaires.

Nonetheless, Barack Obama shrugs off the naysayers and much of his liberal and socialist base that is calling him a “flip-flopper” or much worse. Barack Obama addressing the flip-flopper charge, said “Take a tally. Look at what I promised during the campaign. There’s not a single thing that I haven’t done or tried to do.”
