Army General in Iraq & Pregnancy Ban

A controversial new order from an US Army Genral in Iraq, bans any servicemember from getting pregnant, and even threatens them with being court-martialed and serving time in jail for their pregnancy.

The order was given because a pregnancy forces the military to take a soldier out of active duty, leaving a critical hole in the team at times. But critics say that treating someone like a criminal simply for being pregnant is unfair and excessively harsh, especially for someone who has stepped up to serve in the Army. Perhaps some sort of fine or lesser penalty would be more appropriate?
