Arizona Hires Football Coach Rich Rodriguez to Revamp Program
Michigan head coach Rich Rodriguez has been hired by Arizona. The ex-Michigan coach will now work for a program which was active ten years back.
Rodriguez features in a post by Athletic Director Greg Byrne on Twitter where he along his children and wife, is seen with Byrne. In the picture, Rodriguez is wearing an Arizona cap too. A report from AP also confirmed Rodriguez’s new engagement with Arizona.
Arizona had recently fired coach Mike Stoops due to bad performance by the club. Stoop went 41-50 at Pac-12 school.
Rodriguez is expected to change the records for Arizona with faster attacks and make players more offensive in the games.
He is more notorious for disputes over offensive moves than his coaching skills. It is yet to be seen how Arizona gets an edge over others by hiring Rodriguez.
