Apple has started a new venture by launching application store for Mac computers. The new application store is very similar to a model used for iPhones.

Apple has launched the new software for centralizing distribution, and an easier discovery and thus increases the sale of Mac computers.

The new apple store is linked with iTunes accounts and it has started its service from Thursday with more than 1,000 apps available right now. The store has opened in 90 nations with both paid and free applications in different products like games and other items.

According to Apple’s senior vice president, Phil Schiller, people who have bought iPhones applications can easily use Apple stores. The company hopes to attract programmers and software developers who use different applications by downloading from websites. The company expects to get same response from the consumers as it had when launched iPhones.
