4G Wimax @ New York City: November 1st -- 4G Solution Offer 10 Times Faster Downloads

Time Warner Cable, Sprint and Clearwire Corporation, have all announced the launch of the first ever 4G Wimax in New York City on November 1st, 2010. A look at the history of 4G networks like the 4G Wimax in New York City shows that their launches sometimes don’t always meet expectations. Sprint has been advertising 4G service for a long while now but many reported speeds averaging a lacklustre 3 to 6Mbps — far from promised speeds, though this multi-company launch looks more promising. Like all things trendy and high-tech, the world’s first commercial mobile 4G WiMAX service was started in Seoul, South Korea by KT, over four years ago (June of 2006), and the rest of the world has been struggling to match them ever since.
